His Eminence Christoforos Atallah, the Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Jordan, sponsored a ceremony honoring the “Tawjihi” high school students from the General Secretariat of Orthodox Youth in Jordan, on the grounds of the International Orthodox University of the Baths, organized and supervised by the General Secretariat of Youth.

The meeting began with a friendly, fatherly talk that brought together the Bishop with the students, during which he listened to their experiences in the high school stage, and the challenges and efforts that accompanied them that led them to success. His Eminence affirmed the Church’s pride in its children and its keenness, through its institutions, to accompany and support young people in the various stages of their lives, encouraging them to continue their educational journey with confidence and diligence, and to adhere to their values ​​and faith in building their future.

The ceremony included a motivational speech delivered by the guest of the event, His Excellency Dr. Amjad Jumaan, during which he sent a group of inspiring and encouraging messages to the students, calling on them to pursue their academic and professional careers with passion and determination, and to face the challenges of the future with confidence and fortitude.

The University’s Director, His Holiness the Economist, Dr. Bishara Dahabreh, also provided a comprehensive explanation about the International Orthodox University of Al-Maghtis and its vision and academic mission, reviewing the programs and specializations it offers, its various departments and facilities, in addition to the distinguished educational environment and academic opportunities it provides to students.

After that, the students took an introductory tour that included the university and monastery facilities, during which they learned about the contents of this distinguished scientific and spiritual edifice, and an atmosphere of familiarity, joy, and fraternal fellowship prevailed.

The event concluded with a group of entertainment activities, followed by a dinner party held in honor of the students at the Dead Sea Medical Hotel, fully organized and supervised by the General Secretariat of Orthodox Youth, so that this celebration constitutes a distinguished station that culminates their achievements, and gives them a morale boost and a confident start towards their university and professional future.
